19 January 2010
Want to be a millionaire this year? Any person who solves the Eternity II puzzle by the end of the year could win the credit boosting $2m prize, making it the best entertainment option for 2010, especially as we are all feeling the financial pinch.
There are thousands of ways the Eternity II puzzle can be completed, so players around the world are urged to continue to submit their entries to claim the prize by the final deadline, 31st December 2010. Just think what a cool million could buy you, a delightful house in the country, a super car or a life in leisure – and all you need to do is solve Eternity II!
No special skills are needed - you simply arrange the pieces on the board so that the patterns and colours match up and you are in with a chance to win a cool $2 million prize. Four additional smaller clue puzzles help solve the main puzzle, so there’s something for the whole family to play.
The Eternity II puzzle remains unsolved following the second scrutiny date, 31st December 2009. In 2009, a runner up prize of $10,000 was awarded to Anna Karlsson from Sweden. Anna placed all 256 pieces so that the colours and patterns matched in 467 out of 480 possible places on the Eternity II board. The $2 million prize fund for the first complete entry is still available to win.
Robert Mann, CEO of TOMY Europe commented: “Eternity II is a really fun and engaging puzzle, which is easy to play and can be solved by anybody. We have had many excellent entries, but none are complete solutions. We are looking forward to receiving more entries and hope 2010 will be the year we award the fantastic $2M prize to a lucky winner!”
