STOP PRESS - BIKE RIDE COMPLETE!!!
We have managed to raise over £7,500 in the last few weeks from personal and corporate donations, raffles and sales. The team would like to say a big thank you to everyone who gave genourously.
On Saturday 17th May, it is the annual Toy Trust Big Kids Bike Ride.
TOMY has for the 3rd year running volunteered to take part in this extraordinary event; which raises much needed money to help support many charities for disadvantaged and disabled children.
For this year’s event the country has been divided into 15 sections and will see the toy industry cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End - and back again! Each leg will stretch approximately 80 miles long.
The TOMY Team of 13 riders have the leg which stretches from Bridgwater in Somerset, to Launceston in Cornwall; each member of the Tomy team will endeavour to endure the full 80 miles which is no mean feat!
The Toy Trust was set up in 1990 by the British Toy and Hobby Association and has made a real difference to over a million children and their families across the UK and worldwide. For more information on The Toy Trust, visit www.btha.co.uk/about_us/toy_trust.php
To help us achieve our fundraising goal which will contribute towards the ultimate target of raising a massive £100,000, our associate companies and trade partners have donated very generously.
Tomy would like to say a big big thank you to everyone who has donated, expecially to Knex, Roundpeg, Commonwealth, Pilot, Focus on Kids and Design Etc for their generosity.
