How do I choose a Baby Carrier?
Baby Carriers are very personal and should be tried on to see which is the most comfortable for you to wear as they will fit each person slightly differently. Most good retailers will allow you to try one on in store. Visit our Baby Carrier section for further information.
What is monitor interference and how can it be avoided?
All UK analogue monitors operate within the same public radio frequency band. As a result there is a possibility that your conversation could be overheard/or you may overhear another monitor user. If you experience interference, it can often be resolved by changing to another channel, as this will change the frequency on which your monitor is operating. Additional advice on interference can be found in the problem solving guide included in the product instructions also our Careline may be able to provide further assistance.
We also produce a DECT monitor (Walkabout Platinum Digital) which guarantees ‘100%’ Interference Free Use.
Is it possible to use additional Baby Units to monitor more than child?
If you wish to monitor additional children you will need to purchase an additional DECT monitor as it is not possible for a Parent Unit to receive multiple transmissions from more than one Baby Unit at a time. However, it is possible to use multiple DECT monitors in the same household.
If I use batteries in my baby monitor, how long can I expect them to last?
On average you can expect to get about 8 hours’ use out of high-powered alkaline batteries in a parent unit. We recommend that you use the mains adaptor that came with your monitor whenever possible.
Can I get replacement parts for Tomy products?
Many missing or broken parts can be obtained through our Careline, please visit the spare part section where you can place an order online or download the order form to post to us. If the part you require is not listed please contact the Careline who will be happy to check availability for you.
